Precision CNC Toolholders

COURMATT INTERNATIONAL INC. is pleased to offer a full line of balanced tool holders, for all CNC machine centers, (POINT to POINT and ROUTERS). All toolholders are manufactured to DIN specification for global standards.

COURMATT engineers have added a variety of value added performance and toolholder life. A NIPLOY coating is added to the full exterior of the toolholder. This chemically treated alloy protects the tool holders against oxidation and corrosion, regardless of weather and working conditions. Each toolholder and collet nuts are balanced to exacting Rpm's, to ensure longer toolholder and tool life. With these two process', decreased costs in preventive maintenance and decreased costs in new purchases in toolholders will be evident.

We still suggest a daily, or a minimum of a weekly cleaning for the spindles, toolholders and collets. This will again decrease new purchases of these units and increase tool life.

Collets should be changed based on hours of usage and the type of tools used. The following is a basic guideline on collet life:

Collet Life using standard straight carbide tipped, Insert and PCD tools:
750 hours

Profile carbide tipped, Insert and PCD tools:
750 hours

Collet Life using Solid Carbide helical style tools:
2-3000 hours

Collet life using Solid Carbide helical tools, followed by a profile tool:
1-2000 hours

Again this is a basic guide for collet life. This varies based on the material thickness, type of material, type of machine, type of spindle and toolholders. Refer to your owners and maintenance manuals of the equipment you use.
