Note:
Courmatt Int has provided maximum feed speeds. In the real world machines are different, along with horsepower, vacuum, POD systems, thickness of material etc. email or call for exact feeds & RPMs. With over thousands & thousands of applications. and thousands of tools. It would be difficult to provide on our web site all these formulas.
After 25 years in the tooling business Courmatt does have a data base for solutions.
These are the suggested feed speeds for the downshear tools with a large part layout.
On the upshear tools, feed speeds suggested can be used on a large part layout, however, on small parts feedspeeds should be reduced.
On the smaller parts, a downshear tool is recommended. If CNC equipment cannot provide above mentioned feed speeds, provide us with data and a customized chart can be provided. With roller hold-down use upshear for extended tool life. |
